Dr. Diane Sanford is a psychologist, educator, and speaker, whose work in women’s health psychology has received national attention.  In practice for 25 years, she is president and co-developer of the Women’s Healthcare Partnership, a clinical and consulting group whose mission is to educate and counsel women so that they can attain optimal mental, emotional and physical health.  Her innovative mind-body approach to women’s health and clinical practice was featured in the February 2001 and January 2010 issues of the American Psychological Association Monitor.  For her contributions to improving women’s health, she was given the 1999 Award for Clinical Excellence from the National Association for Women’s Health.

Dr. Sanford is co-author of Postpartum Survival Guide, Midlife and Menopause: A Celebration of Women’s Health and the newly released, Life Will Never Be the Same: The Real Mom’s Postpartum Survival Guide. Through her books, videos, articles, interviews and blog, livingselfcare.com, she has taught thousands of women and health providers about the importance of woman-focused care and taking an integrated, mind-body-spirit approach to women’s health. An internationally recognized expert in maternal mental health, she has lectured throughout the US and abroad.
