In all the hubbub of launching the 21 day self-care challenge, we forgot to announce the contest. For each week of the challenge, we will give away a copy of Life Will Never Be The Same: The Real Mom’s Postpartum Survival Guide. The winner will be drawn from those who post comments on the daily tips.
To enter, all you need to do is share your experience with one of the tips–how you made it work for you. Make sure we have your email address, either when you post or email it to us at ann{at}realmomexperts.com if you’d rather not have your email address public on the blog. Each week, we’ll draw a name and send out a copy of the book. So let us know how it’s going to you, and you could win!
That is a great giveaway! Postpartum depression support is near and dear to my heart. Loving the 21-day challenge!
This is so wonderful! Here I was commenting and not even realizing I could win something. WooHoo!
Thanks, ya’ll!

Thank you for including “the older woman” in this Living Challenge. Recently retired, finding myself still not having time for myself, as I choose to ‘catch up with the piles and repairs’ that accumulated during my working years. I do meditate in my garden, and exercise as I prepare the beds for fall vegetables and spring plantings. I feel more energetic, happier, stronger focusing of taking care of myself. Again, thank you for the support.
I’m so glad that women across the spectrum are finding this useful! This truly speaks to the ways in which ALL women are socialized to dismiss their own needs.
Thank you ALL for being here.
All the best,
Ann
I LOVE contests! The book sounds like a good read. Thanks
Thanks for the opportunity/possibility of winning the book; will definitely be purchasing it if I’m not one of the lucky ones! 🙂
I love this self-care challenge, and am sharing it daily on my facebook page, facebook.com/mamahhhjenni. So far, my favorite has been the one about favorite music. It reminded me of how easy self-care can be — anything that lifts your spirits even for just a moment can be enough to shake the blahs and boost the production of happy hormones working to helping you feel better. As a prenatal/postnatal yoga teacher, a mom of two, and having coped with self-reported PPD for about a year, my new favorite mantra for myself & the mamas I work with is this: When you feel better, you can be better. And music is such a sweet, easy way to get an immediate lift! Thanks for the great ideas!!!
