Time Magazine nailed it with their article on The Goddess Myth and how we force women into choices about birth, breastfeeding or not and bonding according to our societal ideas of being the “perfect mom.” Unfortunately, this Myth has led to many if not all women feeling inadequate, incompetent and like they are failing by not measuring up to this idealized standard.
