About me
I graduated in 2018 with my Master’s in Social Work with a concentration in mental health from the Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis.
After graduation I began working for the American Lung Association in Missouri as the lead on maternal and infant health efforts. For the last four years, I’ve worked with pregnant women and moms to help them quit smoking. In June 2021 I completed my licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
After graduating in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, I worked at Washington University’s Center for Healthy Weight and Wellness and assisted with research on body image and eating disorders among college students.
For the last 10+ years I’ve studied mental health and worked with a variety of populations in different settings.
my approach
The circumstances that are present in our lives today are difficult, even during times when we’re at our best. I believe that having someone look at the issues you’re experiencing in life from an unbiased and nonjudgmental perspective can be helpful, especially when you’re feeling stuck. I hope to create an environment where you feel comfortable sharing your experiences and allowing me to walk alongside you in figuring out solutions to the problems you’re dealing with.
We will discuss how to focus on the present and explore healthy ways to deal with anxiety, depression and stress.
