Trainings

Dr. Sanford’s training program Stress Less Live Better for Healthcare Providers is designed to teach healthcare workers and providers how to prioritize their mind-body health and well-being.

It introduces them to practicing self-care, Sanford’s Four Pillars of Health, and her 5 Simple Steps to Ease Anxiety, Worry and Self-Criticism. By the end of this training, participants will have a concrete plan for how to reduce stress and what they need to do to maintain personal health and well-being by practicing mindfulness based skills.

Dr. Sanford’s training program How to Stress Less and Live Better begins with teaching learners definitions of stress, learning how stress becomes a problem, and the effects of short-term and chronic stress on their minds and bodies. It provides an overview of her 5 Simple Steps to Ease Anxiety, Worry and Self-Criticism and introduces learners to some of the mindfulness based practices to reduce stress and discomfort. It is available on and offline and can be adapted to small or large groups and works well with non-healthcare groups and companies.

  1. Will there be any upcoming trainings on treating perinatal mood and anxiety disorders?

  2. Hi Meghan. Yes there will be a PMAD training this summer. If you’re interested, let me know. Also, if you know anyone who’s interested or if anyone else is interested, let me know. Take good care.

  3. Hi Jessica. That would be great! I think I have 5 or 6 other therapists or health providers who are interested. Could you please let me know when you have vacation planned over the summer. Trying to avoid conflicts. Hope you and your family are doing well.

Also, I’d like to talk to you about a FB campaign I want to do during maternal mental health week. Send me an email if that interests you. Hugs

  4. In August or September. In the meantime, you can order my new book Stress Less Live Better for Pregnancy, Postpartum and Early Motherhood via Amazon or Audible. My guided YouTube exercises are under the Resource tab on my website at http://www.drdianesanford.com and I am glad to answer any questions about these or anything you read. Take good care, Dr. Sanford
